Dan Roberts is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the telecom and MSP industries. Guided by honesty and integrity as his primary motivations, Dan has built a career on fostering genuine relationships and delivering solutions that truly meet his clients’ needs.
When he’s not working, Dan enjoys coaching his son’s football team and cheering for his favorite teams—the Raiders and the Cal Bears—with unwavering passion. Whether on the field, in the workplace, or as a fan in the stands, Dan’s leadership, dedication, and love for teamwork shine through.

Jim Hutchinson
Jim began his IT career in 1999, managing Novell 4.11 in his first role. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience across multiple industries, including home IT support, engineering IT support, and managed service providers (MSPs).
With 15 years of MSP experience, Jim advanced from a Level 2 technician to managing and leading teams of MSP technicians. Driven by a passion for delivering exceptional service and fostering a people-first approach, Jim co-founded Columbia River IT Solutions alongside three other partners. Together, they are committed to creating an IT company that prioritizes integrity, respect, and outstanding solutions for both employees and clients.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jim has a deep appreciation for the outdoors. When he’s not working, he enjoys hiking and spending quality time with his family, exploring the beautiful landscapes the region has to offer.
Joe White
With over 34 years of experience in the tech industry, Joe White brings a seasoned perspective and meticulous attention to detail to Columbia River IT Solutions. His deep technical expertise, paired with his methodical approach, ensures that every decision is carefully considered—a valuable counterbalance to the fast-paced tendencies of his fellow co-founders.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys restoring classic Honda Accords and Malibus, combining his love for problem-solving with hands-on craftsmanship. He also has a special affinity for raking gravel to perfection and expertly installing trim—a reflection of his dedication to precision in all aspects of life.
Joe’s thoughtful decision-making, passion for excellence, and knack for the finer details play a key role in shaping the high standards and culture of Columbia River IT Solutions.
Matt Shadle
With over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to Columbia River IT Solutions. His career has been defined by a passion for problem-solving and creating meaningful connections with clients and team members alike.
Matt lives by three mottos that reflect his personality and values:
